Green and Glenn is a consciously curated clean beauty online boutique. It was created with love and a lot of late nights in 2022 by husband and wife team, Travis and Ashlee (that's us!).

We are located and proudly ship from Fayetteville, AR.

We take the guess work out of shopping clean since we vet every single product. We only sell items we love and use (and or would recommend to our closest friends and family members)

How do we define clean? Easy! We steer clear of all major toxic ingredients and any suspected harmful ingredients.

We look for brands and products that value the health of the planet, our bodies, and are intentionally cruelty-free / animal friendly. We want you to feel good about what is going on your skin or into your home.

Accessibility

We want shopping clean to be easy, no matter where you are in your journey! This is a strict no judgment zone. We aim to make clean beauty accessible to all genders, skin tones, and budgets.

Our first shoot

How It All Started

Ashlee started her clean beauty journey in 2016 after discovering a little app by the EWG called Think Dirty that rates the toxicity of your products on a scale of 0-10 (0 being clean and 10 being toxic). After watching one of her favorite bloggers report their findings, Ashlee knew she had to download it and see for herself how her products scored.

She started scanning all the conventional products lining her shelf and in her cabinets only to have her worst suspicions come true. Staring back at her was an entire cabinet full of bright red 8, 9's, and 10's. Something like a record scratch went off.

She couldn't believe that she had been putting toxic ingredients onto my body day after day for years - no, her whole life - and no one had bothered to clue her in so that she could make an educated choice.

Slowly, but surely, she began swapping everything from soap to toothpaste to lotion to foundation in her and Travis's aparment to a cleaner alternative. They haven't looked back since!

Why Green and Glenn?

Green. There are so many ways to interpret "green." Some may associate it with being young or new. We are young to this business and this business feels like new life is being brought forth. Some may associate the color green with being eco-conscious and caring about the environment, which is at the center of the clean beauty movement.

Glenn. Ashlee's father, who passed in 2021, from COVID-19 related complications, just ten days after Ashlee decided she was going to finally start that clean beauty business she'd been dreaming about for years. He instilled the core values of having great integrity and working incredibly hard - two things we aim to bring to this business every single day.
